With the heating equipment, we have developed a special scraper retrofit unit for areas with extreme weather conditions.

SDC is fitted with a stainless steel tubular heater, which is located and protected inside the support tube. As an independent assembly of the scraper system the heating equiment may be unscrewed and removed at any time.

The heating temperature / period is controlled on the basis of continuously measured ambient temperature. This ensures that the whole support system is always free of ice.  

The design is robust and simple. During maintenance and cleaning work, eg, the cables are disconneted from the scraper ("Connector"). The scraper can be handled after the decoupling of the heating system as a standard system.

The configuration of the SDC system is based on the essential conditions (eg max. ambient temperatures, mounting situations, material consistency) and specific variables such as support pipe length and diameter.
